THE TOY BOX
for your toy box you can use a spare Food Cup that affixes to the side of the cage.
fill your birds toy box with various toy parts, pine blocks, acrylic shapes, paper rope.
Small strands of bird safe vegetable tanned leather threaded through blocks adds intrest to the block, Remember to use the right size toy part for your bird.

It is also a good idea to have a toy box outside the cage.

Please note: all my toy making parts have been carefully chosen, I only stock toy parts I consider safe.

I consider that soft plastic items are not safe for birds, so I do not sell any soft plastic toy items at all!!

not all acrylic is safe for your bird, some acrylic parts can be very brittle, and can chip and crack, leaving a sharp edge.

I am very carefull with what I sell, and I only sell the right type of acrylic parts for our birds.

I test all my acrylic parts!! if I am not sure they are safe, I dont sell them.

My leather comes straight from the tannery to me, it has had nothing added to it at all, and it is NOT tanned with oak tanning which is toxic to birds.

all my leather, is 100% natural, and safe.
this leather comes straight from the tannery to me!! it is done exactley to my specifications, so I can guarantee it is 100% natural and safe, and is of the highest quality. and more important it has had nothing added to it after leaving the tannery.

and also, it is not!! tanned with oak tanning.

Oak tanning is toxic to parrots. Many places use oak tanning in their veg tanned laeather, and this is used for parrot toys.
