out!! with the snuggle hut's/birdie beds, the chube is the safest bed/hideaway for your bird.
this is a brilliant!! idea, and birds really do love them.
if you look on the toy safety page, you will see why I DO NOT like the birdie beds, no birdie bed is safe, and in my opinion NO bird should have one.
this chube is a safer option, it has been tested by my birds, and lots of my customers birds, all who say their birds really love the chube.
I have spoken to the manufacturers that make this chube, and I am confident this item is safe.
it has been a big HIT!! with everyone, so I really recommend you get one of these for your bird.
I don't sell these, but you can get them from most pet shops, pets at home sell them, and also wilkinsons.
they are called, critter's choice chube, (by underworld) they come in different sizes, and priced from £2 - £5
the largest size is HUGE!! and will be great for the bigger birds.

this is harry my senegal in his chube, I have just hung his chube over a piece of pine dowel that goes right across the top of the cage.

this size is Ideal for the African grey, or similar sized birds, and it is also big enough for the macaw, as you can see from the pictures below.
please be aware that I dont recommend hanging the chube with rope, please click here to read the reasons why.
you can hang your chube with a piece of dowel like in the picture above, or leather which is sold on the toy making parts page.
Also a great Idea is to hang the chube with stainless steel nuts and bolts, like in the pictures below.
this is the most effective way of hanging the chube, and allows you to put the chube on the side of the cage as well as at the top.
